DONATE TO DELTA CARDIFF VOLUNTEER FIRE COMPANY, INC.
Individuals, businesses, and foundations support Delta Cardiff Volunteer Fire Company (DCVFC)operations and capital needs through generous contributions each year. While our Annual Fund Drive raises less than a third of our operating funds each year, DCVFC relies on special gifts to meet the remainder of our operational needs.

The Delta Cardiff Volunteer Fire Company, Inc. accepts a variety of gifts, including:

Matching Gifts - Many companies have matching gift programs designed to support the charities that their employees support. We would be happy to provide the incorporation and IRS determination letter that many companies require before making matching contributions.

Estate Gifts - Many residents name the Delta Cardiff Volunteer Fire Company as a beneficiary of their will, living trust, IRA, retirement account, or other financial account, or by having loved ones contribute in lieu of flowers.

Year End Gifts - Many residents choose to remember DCVFC at year's end, in order to take advantage of tax savings.* Needless to say, your gift is very much appreciated at any time of of the year. Cash or check- A gift of cash (or a check) is still the most popular way to make a charitable gift. Your gift will quickly go to work for DCVFC, fulfilling the day-to-day need for supplies, training, uniforms, and other necessities. In addition, we will honor requests for specific uses of gifts, such as for uniforms or training, provided your request is consistent with our lifesaving mission. Please contact us for further details.

Securities - Gifts of appreciated securities or stock can be one of the most advantageous ways of giving. If your gift of stock is one you have owned for more than one year, you may be able to deduct the full fair market value of the stock as a charitable contribution, while bypassing capital gains taxes.

* Real Estate - Gifts of appreciated real estate are like gifts of appreciated stock. Assuming you have owned the property for more than one year, you may be able to deduct as a charitable contribution the fair market value of real estate while avoiding capital gains taxes.

* Insurance - Life insurance is a unique way to give to charity. To qualify, the charity needs to become the owner and the beneficiary. No incidents of ownership should be retained. If the policy is paid up, your charitable contribution is generally the replacement value or cost basis of the policy, whichever is less. Ongoing premiums paid on a gifted life insurance policy may also qualify for charitable deductions.

* Personal Property and Services- Examples of such gifts and services donated to DCVFC include: Automobiles Funeral Plots Meals for our Volunteers Professional Services from local businesses

The Delta Cardiff Volunteer Fire Company, Inc. is registered as a 501(c)(3) organization with the Internal Revenue Service, and contributions are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law.
